Tres Zine Launch - Pop-up Exhibition

Tres Zine is a brand new artists' collective in Edinburgh that aims to serve as a platform for emerging local and Scottish talent and they are launching a free zine, to be distributed around Edinburgh. The collective is open to all creatives, unrestricted by any artist's background. The launch event is taking place this Saturday 24 May with a pop-up exhibition at 3 Balfour Street in Leith (next to Leith Cycles on Leith Walk) from 2-9pm and sounds like it will be an amazing party, with live music, spoken word, art and DJs. There'll be art from Hazel Gore, Jon Paul Milne, Sencha and James Findlay, music from Blood Indians, Passion Pusher and Neil Simpson as well as spoken word from Sam Small and Max Scratchman, among a few other performances. Pictured below is some of the artists' imagery that will be featured in the exhibition. It'll cost 2 quid to get in, so that the zine can be for free and it's BYOB - can't say fairer than that. The zine is being launched with the aim of expanding the artistic scene, this kind of awesome event sounds like the type of thing that will do just that.

Sencha - Working It

Hazel Gore - Mumma Wolf
