Weekend Adventures - November Nesting

1. Some much needed coffee at my favourite local Newhaven cafe, The Haven.  It's a wee gem of a place and does the best pancakes in Edinburgh (fact).

2. Any outfit instantly smartened up with Tatty Devine's bowtie necklace.  Shirt & coat both from Urban Outfitters.

3. Moustache shortbread pop (mo-pop!) in support of Movember by Pinnies & Poppyseeds.  Our lovely friend Victoria held an afternoon tea baby shower this weekend and had picked these up from Stockbridge Market.  It was such a fun afternoon and we all went home stuffed with cake - perfect.

4. This weekend marked the return of The Killing 3 - sadly the last ever series.  Saturday nights are going to be very tense for the next five weeks!  Sarah Lund's new jumper was pretty awesome and now you can even knit your own Sarah with this pattern on Ravelry by Whodunnknit.  It's also in Emma Kennedy's The Killing Handbook where you can knit your own little killer to go along with her.  It's only a shame that I can't knit and watch The Killing at the same time because of the subtitles.

So... how are you staying cosy this cold November?

  1. Love the tache on a stick and the Tatty bowtie - very old school gentleman's chic! Now we just need a cigar smoke filled club,a log fire and brandy swilling in a crystal snifter...

    1. Yes - what a shame they weren't on the same day! I can see some tweed working quite well for the occasion too.
